Handling of requests and complaints related to accessibility
Everyone has the right to request digital accessibility of the website,
mobile application or any of their elements. You may also request that
information be made available in an alternative form—for example, by
reading out a digitally inaccessible document or describing the content of
a video without audio description. The request should include the contact
details of the requesting person, the exact address of the resource in
question and the preferred method of contact. If you request information in
an alternative form, please specify a convenient way of providing it.
The public body shall comply with the request immediately, but no later than
within 7 days of the request. If meeting this deadline is impossible, the
requester will be informed when the request can be fulfilled, but this
period shall not exceed 2 months from the date of the request. If digital
accessibility cannot be ensured, the public body may propose an alternative
means of access to the information.
If the public body refuses to comply with the request for accessibility or
an alternative means of access, you may file a complaint concerning the
provision of digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or
their elements. After exhausting this procedure, you may also submit a
complaint to the Polish Commissioner for Human Rights Commissioner for Human Rights.
