Grzegorz Mączkowski
About me I was employed at Virtual Reality Techniques Division in Institute of Micromechanics and Photonics, Warsaw University of Technology and a member of the OGX research group. I was taking part in research focused on optical measurements of 3D surfaces geometry and color. My work particularly focused on methods of digitization of cultural heritage objects and 3D data analysis. My scientific interests included:
- spectrophotometric, colorimetric and multispectral measurement techniques
- spectral reflectance reconstruction methods
- camera characterization and calibration
- image processing and recognition
- point clouds processing
My other interests which I used in research as well as a hobby was:
- object oriented software architecture
- programming in C++ and Python
- Linux operating system
- numerical data analysis techniques
Privately I am fond of photography, traveling with a back-pack and outdoor activities.
